TRIARE’s preparatory work included researching the market to see what alternatives were already presented. It turned out that the analogous solutions were too expensive and limited in use. Also, they could not be used with only mobile devices, e.g. tablets. All of them required using additional costly medical appliances.
We discovered that to work properly, the solution needed to apply 3D technology for adjusting the implants models combined with 2D patients’ pictures. As a result, teeth had to be shown as a photo that could be shared with the patient along with the saving data that the doctor can use as an initial requirement for the following procedures. All the patients’ data will be stored in the doctor’s CRM that we connected to the mobile app.
Having done initial preparations, we conducted Q&A meetings with the client, discussed the product demo, design specifications, budget estimates, and timelines. Finally, our communication resulted in understanding of the client’s demands – our possibilities have been matched with their expectations.
We used AI technology provided by Google ML kit to achieve accuracy in face recognition techniques: identifying lips, face orientation, and position of the eyes and mouth. For calculating the position of the jaw and gingiva we used custom formulas based on internal calculation and a matrix provided by Google ML kit.
